The Undertaker Once Threatened to Legitimately Hurt Randy Orton After a Spot Went Wrong

‘The Viper’ Randy Orton is arguably one of the best wrestlers pro-wrestlers in the world. Day in and day out, Orton has proven that every ounce of his very being oozes entertainment, and he is still not done with wrestling. However, The Undertaker once warned Orton after ‘The Viper’ had hit him with a chair.

Orton is currently enjoying a fun ride as the Raw Tag Team champion alongside his partner, Matt Riddle. However, in his initial days in WWE, Orton had rubbed a lot of people in the wrong way.

In the early 2000s when Randy Orton became ‘The Legend Killer’. The WWE creative team taped a rocket on his back and pushed him all the way to the moon. Throughout 2005, Orton feuded none other than The Undertaker and produced some stellar matches.

In 2005, The Undertaker and Randy Orton were scheduled to face in a gruesome one-on-one Hell in a Cell match at the Armageddon PPV.

The match was one of the best matches of the year as both the wrestlers were drenched in blood; eventually, ‘Taker emerged victoriously.

However, The Undertaker warned Orton that a “receipt” was coming for him as Orton had botched a chair shot and had legitimately injured Taker several months ago.

Randy Orton appeared on ‘WWE Untold‘ and reflected on his earlier days in WWE and how well his initial run with the company went. However, Orton clearly reflected back on the time when The Undertaker scared him before his match.

The reason ‘Taker had threatened Orton was because ‘The Viper’ had accidentally hit Undertaker in the face with a chair, which legitimately hurt the Deadman.

Now, Orton had a notorious reputation during his earlier days in the company, and ‘Taker thought he should take matters into his own hands and straighten up Orton.

However, Orton quickly realized that ‘Taker is ribbing the young pro-wrestler and will never injure a wrestler deliberately. Eventually, Orton went on to become one of the most gifted superstars in the WWE.
