LA Knight’s meteoric rise in the last few months has been phenomenal. After working at a lower card for WWE since his main roster debut, he is finally getting a major push. After winning the 20-man Battle Royale at SummerSlam, he has now reached the main event level in the company. Many believe that Knight’s charismatic in-ring persona to be the reason behind his craze among fans. Another WWE superstar has joined the fan base of LA Knight after coming across him at NXT.
Knight’s rise to stardom has seen him earn a WWE Undisputed Universal title shot against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. His promos and just the way he carries himself have gotten him over with the fans.
NXT superstar praises LA Knight for his charismatic persona

LA Knight has taken the wrestling world by storm due to his charismatic appearance and character work that reminisces every one of Stone Cold and The Rock from The Attitude Era. 30-year-old NXT Champion Dragunov talked about Knight’s charisma and compared it to the current roster. As per Dragunov, Knight has more charisma than many wrestlers in the industry.
Ilja Dragunov heaped praise on The Megastar LA Knight who will be facing Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. While speaking to Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling, Dragunov said, “LA Knight has definitely had success for very obvious reasons. I mean, like, he probably has more charisma in his little finger than a lot of people in this business will ever have in their entire body.”

Many fans believe that Knight resembles the style of The Rock and at times his mannerisms resemble that of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. On top of it, he delivers promos that grab the attention of the audience. It adds value to his character work that has made performers like Dragunov praise Knight.
Dragunov further said, “It was a weird moment because sharing the ring with him for the very first time in this stipulation, just having him as a referee in the match was kind of like, it was a weird experience.”
Dragunov was referring to his match against Dominik Mysterio during the special NXT episode on October 10th.

Cody Rhodes was the special guest GM for the special show of NXT when he made the match official between Dominik Mysterio and Ilja Dragunov. Though Rhea Ripley convinced Dragunov to put the NXT title on the line, Rhodes and Dragunov agreed to the match.
However, Rhodes had a special stipulation in mind. To counter the heel antics of The Judgment Day, Rhodes called LA Knight as a special guest referee to officiate the match. In the end, Knight countered interferences from Finn Balor that helped Dragunov pin Mysterio.
