John Cena returns to the Fast and Furious franchise on May 19. To his fans across the globe, it must be a piece of thrilling news. But what would excite them even more is seeing their beloved wrestler performing his signature WWE move in the upcoming film, Fast X.

There’s no denying the fact that Cena had a decorated pro wrestling career in WWE. He was one of the most loved wrestlers, especially for kids. Children found their hero in him. And now this wrestling superstar has gotten into Hollywood, following his passion for acting. However, it seems like the 16-time world champion has found a way to merge both the worlds of acting and wrestling.

WWE itself shared a fascinating clip of The Cenation Leader where he speaks about using his signature maneuver in Fast X. 

He said, “The stunt coordinator was like, hey, is it okay if we use your signature maneuver from WWE, the Attitude Adjustment?”

Cena continued, “Now, the John Cena Attitude Adjustment is immortalized in the global phenomenon that is Fast. This sets the stage for something larger. And in that way, it’s unfamiliar territory for the fast mythology, and I think that’s the major thing that was different.”

With what Cena said in the clip, it’s evident that the legend himself knows how popular his move is. And it will also be one of the most attractive elements of the entire film, especially for his fans. Everyone will wait to see Cena’s iconic WWE move in the movie.

However, this wasn’t the only time Cena talked about the world of Fast X and wrestling together. One time, he even compared the two, highlighting the similarities between the two.

During one of his Fast X promotions, John Cena sat down with Megan Rate of Extra, where he addressed some fans’ criticism. It was about the new addition to the Fast and Furious franchise, as a few fans find it odd.

In response to it, Cena said, “I think anyone who says do we really need another one, I compare it to a fan who says, ‘but isn’t wrestling fake?’ They just don’t understand what we do and that just don’t understand what this is about.”

That being said, it’s apt for the former wrestler to compare the two worlds as both are based on scripts. And fans have seen Cena performing in one of those worlds for a good time. Now, that The Champ calls the Fast X, one of the best in the franchise, it adds more credibility and excitment to it.
