After his retirement, Vince McMahon handed over his business to his family. Some fans didn’t understand his decision to not hand over the family business to his children; instead giving charge of it to his in-law, Triple H. But after Paul Levesque retires from his position, who is going to take care of the promotion? The new generation of the McMahon family is already in preparation for the next takeover.

Recently, Shane McMahon‘s son claimed that he would be the best fit as the heir to the McMahon crown. However, he is not the only ‘future leader’ in the line. Turns out, Declan McMahon would have to prove his worth among three more potential candidates.

Which names can replace Vince McMahon in the future?

Despite the Endeavor acquisition of WWE, we can expect the McMahon family to still be somewhat in control of the wrestling promotion. Although big decisions would be Endeavor’s call, smaller aspects like creative would need a little bit of a familiar touch. For this, Declan McMahon, Shane’s eldest son, has nominated himself.

Out of all of Vince McMahon’s grandchildren, the collegiate footballer claimed himself to be the ‘best’ choice for the future of WWE. In an interview, Declan revealed his thought process by saying, “You know, I know Aurora, Paul’s oldest daughter, Triple H’s oldest daughter, she’s always talked about wanting to do it, but you know like in having my dad and my grandpa’s ego, I think I’d be the best.”

But apart from him, there are three more potential candidates who might challenge him for the post he is eyeing.

Stephanie McMahon‘s two daughters, namely, Aurora Rose and Murphy Claire can also stand as competent challengers to Declan in the future. The two were born in the years 2006 and 2008 respectively. This is because both of them are close to his age. Moreover, Declan’s own brother, Kenyon Jesse McMahon, born in 2006, can also prove to be an obstacle in his way.

Apart from the two mentioned daughters, Steph and Paul welcomed Vaugh Evelyn, their third daughter, into the world in 2010. Shane McMahon’s youngest son, Rogan Henry McMahon was also born in the same year. So, if their elder siblings are not up to the task, the little ones might also prove worthy of handling WWE when the time comes.
