Tony Khan Announces the Complete AEW Continental Classic Tournament Competitors

Tony Khan announced AEW’s version of NJPW G1 Climax, dubbed the Continental Classic. The round-robin tournament will feature AEW’s 12 top stars competing for glory. The first entrant was Bryan Danielson and now we have the list of the remaining 11 entrants in the tournament.

AEW’s CEO Tony Khan announced that the AEW Continental Classic Selection Special will kick off in Chicago. The tournament will begin on November 22 on AEW Dynamite on TBS live from the Wind Trust Arena 8/7 Central, with the following weeks held in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Texas, Oklahoma, and finally, in Orlando, Florida. There are two groups, the Gold League and the Blue League that have been announced for the tournament.

Bryan Danielson
Andrade El Idolo
Brody King
Claudio Castagnoli
Eddie Kingston
Daniel Garcia

Meanwhile, we have in the Gold League:

Jon Moxley
Rush
Mark Briscoe
Swerve Strickland
Jay Lethal
Jay White
