WWE has led another lamb to the slaughterhouse. After his shocking heel turn at Hell in a Cell, it made sense for WWE to book Tucker strongly.

The former Heavy Machinery man was finally given a chance in the spotlight. However, WWE did not follow up on this opportunity. On Raw, Tucker was beaten by Ricochet in under a minute.

It was nice to see Ricochet pick up a win, as he too was floundering in the mid card and on Main Event. However, the use of Tucker as cannon fodder for Ricochet was completely unjustified and senseless.

WWE has let go of another chance to carry forward a possibly exciting storyline that could’ve elevated two wrestlers to the status of superstars.

Tucker cost his Heavy Machinery partner Otis his Money in the Bank contract at Hell in a Cell. He blasted him in the head with the briefcase, gifting The Miz with the win and the briefcase. While Otis was a bizarre choice for the title of Mr. Money in the Bank, the heel turn was executed very well and could have been very successful.

Tucker got no entrance on Raw for his match, and his ring gear was absolutely atrocious. He was stuck in a pair of track pants with his name sprawled across his backside. He looked visibly distraught in the ring as he tried to get his game face on for his match against the former United States Champion.

Has WWE given up on him already?

The new look and no entrance is a sign that WWE has given up on Tucker. Otis might be moving on to another feud now that he’s stuck on SmackDown and Tucker’s on Raw.

Tucker will definitely be used as a jobber to the stars, facing the likes of Braun Strowman, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle and AJ Styles in squash matches.

After Tucker’s embarrassing loss to Ricochet, the high flyer was attacked by Ali and Retribution. This further buried him as he was used as a stepping stone to the budding feud between Ricochet and Retribution. Where Tucker goes from here, we do not know. However, the faster we can get that gear out of the ThunderDome, the better.
