A few years ago, on Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast, the wrestling veteran talked about Brock Lesnar’s private jet. He shared why WWE gave him jet and what were the terms for using it.
Prichard said, “Pretty easy deal, Brock wanted to have his private plane, and he paid for it. The company would have flown him in and the company would pay what they would have paid and travel to Brock. Use it however the f**k you want. If you wanna use it to pay for a private plane, more power to you. That makes him happier, then you got a happy Brock, everybody’s happy.”
He added, “I think a lot of guys misread that like, ‘Oh my god they are paying got Brock’s private plane.’ That’s not exactly true. They paid the same things they would have paid for airfare and Brock chose to use that money to have his private plane. It probably ended up costing Brock more money. Certainly didn’t cost the company any more money.”
As per the wrestling legend, The Beast hated to travel and go through airports. Moreover, he didn’t like dealing with people and was not fond of any delays. Furthermore, at that time, Lesnar lived in Minnesota, and he often had to conform to hectic schedules.
Also, Prichard recalled that many other people in the company were criticizing this move. However, he recalled that WWE would have done the same for anyone who had drawn money for the company at the level Lesnar did.
Prichard on whether Brock Lesnar deserved the push
Bruce Prichard, in his podcast, shed light on the fact many WWE superstars were upset over it. They quickly gave Brock Lesnar a push and sent to the top.
