The injury occurred on the 12/8 episode of SmackDown. While Flair was on one of the turnbuckles to attack Damage CTRL’s Asuka, she lost control and landed an injury. Following this, WWE made an official announcement this week that the 14-time World Champion will be out of action for almost 9 months.

Currently, Flair is involved in a storyline with the Damage CTRL. The former Women’s Champion had formed an alliance with Bianca Belair and Shotzi to take down the heel stable. She was even present at the 2023 Survivor Series, where she called in her friend Becky Lynch to take down the faction at the main event. It would be interesting to see how the storyline involving Flair and Damage CTRL will change following this announcement. Do you think Flair will return soon to claim her rightful spot as The Queen?
