Replying to the tweet, Meltzer disclosed that WWE had hit rock-bottom in the 2000s, with an average of 3800 for a full year, before Cena came to the rescue. When he arrived at the promotion, he started bringing more eyes to the product that WWE was pushing to the market. As a result, profits started increasing.

Therefore, he indirectly revived the pro wrestling landscape and propelled it to greater heights in the future. Since then Cena has been a major draw in the promotion. Over his 20-year career as a pro wrestler, he has never failed to attract the attention of his audience. But with his career booming in Hollywood, will the fans even see him inside the ring again?
