WWE Superstars can kiss the hopes of earning some extra cash goodbye! According to recent reports on Wrestlinginc and Wrestling Observer, WWE has sent out a warning to its employees. All Superstars have to stop their alliance with third-party platforms like Twitch, TikTok, Cameo etc. If they don’t do so in 30 days, there will be major consequences, according to Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon Sends Out Ultimatum To WWE Superstars
Vince McMahon gave the Superstars an ultimatum to stop interacting with third-party platforms. They have 30 days to follow the orders. A letter had his detailed thoughts. The “rebuilding process of WWE” was said to be the main reason behind this order.

“Some of you are engaged with outside third parties using your name and likeness in ways that are detrimental to our company. It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days (by Friday October 2). Continued violations will result in fines, suspension, or termination at WWE’s discretion.”

Many wrestlers including Big E, Xavier Woods, Paige, Adam Cole, Lana, and Natalya are associated with third-party apps like Twitch and Tiktok. The wrestlers do have an identity/hobby outside the squared circle.
Mr. McMahon said WWE “owns” the ring names as well as the real names of the performers. In theory, performers would be legally allowed to do other things outside of WWE as long as they are not using their trademark WWE character names. However, in reality, WWE is as stern as it gets.

It seems as though Vince McMahon wants to enforce some discipline. In the recent past, WWE Superstars have substantially increased their presence on third-party platforms. That is certainly set to change from this point forward.
There will be some backlash from wrestlers and fans alike. We don’t know if WWE will release any kind of official statement. If and when it does, we will certainly get more facts about this new diktat.
