Watch: “What Did I Just Say?”: After Performing in India for the First Time, John Cena and Former WWE World Champion Engage in a Hilarious Hindi Learning Session

John Cena has enjoyed immense stardom wherever he has performed and the fans’ love for him was evident again when headlined the Superstar Spectacle in India, despite not being a full-time performer. Equally, Cena was also over the moon to perform in India, after working in WWE for so long. But he wasn’t only interested in performing but also knowing India through his visit and he seems to have found the best way to do just that, learning the local language, Hindi.

Having come to WWE, the company could not help but invite the former World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali, who put India on the map for WWE. While backstage, Cena crossed paths with Khali and both of them shot a hilarious video.

In the video, you can see Cena hanging out with former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali. Cena asks the former champion to teach him some Hindi and Khali obliges, making him repeat the popular Hindi phrase, ‘Chak De Phatte’. When he finally repeated the entire phrase, Cena only had one question: “What did I just say?

This video is just another proof that coming to India was a wholesome experience for Cena as he enjoys a rabid fanbase in the country.

Even before coming to the country, Cena already displayed a lot of gratefulness for WWE to allow him to be a part of their India show.

What did coming to India mean for the 16-time world champion?

After 20 years in his career, this was the first time that Cena performed in India. When he first announced his appearance in India on SmackDown, Cena was audibly excited while announcing it.

Just 48 hours ago, Cena expressed his gratefulness about the fact that he’ll be able to perform in India after working in WWE for two decades.

When the time came, Cena was also smiling ear to ear as seen in this video as well. His tag match with Imperium also got fans excited in the arena. This was a highlight moment for Cena as well as his Indian fans.
