“We Can Be Better as a Country”: Dwayne Johnson Shares Heartfelt Video on 4th of July

The 4th of July is indeed a great day for the people of the United States of America, as there is barbeque, fireworks, and many other ways to celebrate. However, the highest-paid Hollywood actor, Dwayne Johnson, always loves to celebrate festivals and national holidays in his style. Like he celebrated the 4th of July meal a day before on his cheat meal day.

On the 4th of July, Dwayne Johnson wished everyone a Happy Independence Day from his gym on Instagram. He termed this year’s Independence Day as ‘Happy sweaty 4th’. Furthermore, he also wrote some words for the United States.

The caption Johnson wrote was, “Happy sweaty 4th, my friends 💦💪🏾💥🇺🇸🦅🥃 We’ll get there. We got a lot of hard work to do. Stuff to fix. Stuff to make right. I’m optimistic. We’ll get there. Love U guys and enjoy your families today.!~ #54 🦅🇺🇸💪🏾”

The Rock also added, “ps, here’s one of my favorites that’s served me well over the years….It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. Toast to my boy @creedfisherofficial 🥃 🎶 🇺🇸”.

In the video, The Jumanji actor had a lot of words of encouragement to say to the people of America. He started with, “Happy 4th of July to all of you guys out there. I hope you are having the best day celebrating with your friends and family, your loved ones. Hope you have the best day as we celebrate our country’s independence. Happy birthday, America.”

“As a country and I know we all agree regardless on what side of line you are from, we all agree we can be better as a country. There is a lot of room for improvement and we have some things to fix and we will get there. I’m optimistic”.

Further, Johnson also stated everybody is equal and that let us celebrate the holiday together. He said to treat everyone fairly and stated, “It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice”.

While watching the video, we can see the USA flag behind Johnson. Also, he wore his #54 XFL jersey, which is a personal number for him.

Why is 54 a personal number for Dwayne Johnson?

Before becoming an actor and WWE Superstar, Dwayne Johnson aspired to pursue an NFL career. However, he wasn’t able to achieve that dream and joined the family business. Recently, Dwayne Johnson shared a post on his Instagram where he talked about the NFL. He wore the XFL jersey with the number 54, which he called a personal number.

In the caption, he gave the reason, “Why I wear #54. There are 53 men on an NFL roster who ball out on Sundays and live their dreams. I was #54. I was that player who was told, “you’re good, but you’re not good enough….. thank you for all your hard work and this is where it all ends.”

The former WWE Champion played college football at the University of Miami and was on its national championship team in 1991.
