AJ Styles proved once again that he can be just as good a heel as he can be a babyface. On the latest episode of SmackDown, AJ Styles mocked his opponent Jey Uso.

Uso had just finished with a serious confrontation with his cousin Roman Reigns, and things did not go well. The Anoa’i family is split and the bad blood has really affected Jey mentally.

Just when he had this heavy moment with someone he shared a close bond with, AJ Styles comes out to stab his knife in Uso’s already wounded back. Shortly after reemerging from backstage with his entrance music, Styles began with the mic.

First, he referred to the entire segment between Reigns and Uso as a “Luau” which is a set of Hawaiian Dance parties popular amongst the Samoan folk.

He then went on to ridicule the entire Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso storyline completely within 2 sentences. He joked at the fact that the two were fighting over ‘chicken bones’ and scraps which further annoyed Jey. The Tribal chief is, in fact, a very important and respected position.

AJ Styles could not put his money where his mouth was

“The Phenomenal One” crossed the limit when he commented that Roman Reigns was a better athlete than Jey. He added viciously that Jey should go back to the rut he had been in his entire WWE career.

This blew Uso’s head off and he immediately took down AJ Styles. After a barrage of punches, Styles managed to escape the ring. Unfortunately, he was not out of the water.
