Dwayne Johnson made his ultimate WWE return on the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The wrestler’s appearance, although rumored, was utterly unexpected. Not only did The Rock excite the fans sitting in the audience, but also the fans who were waiting for him backstage. These were none other than the WWE stars who grew up watching The Rock ‘cook’ on WWE television.

His appearance at SmackDown filled the air with excitement, both on-stage and backstage. After Johnson made his graceful return to the wrestling promotion, he met a number of WWE superstars backstage. Some of them were ecstatic to get their pictures clicked with him because they grew up as his fans. This resulted in an utterly wholesome moment.

‘The Brahma Bull’ showed up at SmackDown last night to humble Austin Theory. After his explosive appearance, fans were left excited and stunned. But so were some WWE stars. Following his ultimate return, there were some pictures floating on social media where DJ was featured with different WWE personalities. At first, we have Mia Yim. This SmackDown star had tonnes to talk about while uploading her happy picture with the Hollywood superstar. Michin revealed that The Rock was the person to hook her to pro wrestling as a kid. While the wrestler was around the age of 10 years old when Johnson was in his wrestling prime, she finally got to meet him as a result.

The female wrestler described the ‘electrifying’ experience by saying, “He made me go through a million emotions just through the screen. And last night, he did the same thing but in person.

Then we came across one of SmackDown’s female commentators, Kayla Braxton. The broadcaster’s thrill didn’t calm down even after catching a glimpse of The Rock inside the ring. Braxton got an adorable picture clicked with the WWE legend while flexing in the caption that they are ‘co-workers’. However, she cut the joke short to admit how much she admires the former wrestler’s personality. She wrote, “[The Rock] never fails to show how much he loves this business, loves his fans, and respects all the superstars following in his footsteps. What. A. Guy. 🎤


Even Top Dolla didn’t hold back from standing alongside the owner of XFL and getting a picture clicked. Although he didn’t express much through words, his simple caption saying, “🔝💵 x [The Rock]” was enough to prove his excitement that a legend is back in the Stamford-based company.

The amount of fanfare that the 51-year-old was able to gather through just day one of his return is incredible. Even after years of not being an active in-ring performer The Rock garners tremendous respect from the fans and other WWE stars alike.
