Roman Reigns‘ absence from WWE after WrestleMania XL has given The Bloodline leverage to give us a glimpse of how chaotic the faction can be. WWE Backlash 2024 is the first time that fans caught Tama Tonga performing in the ring in the Stamford-based company and the debut of his brother, Tanga Loa. If the viewers hadn’t noticed it already, they observed during the PLE match that the latest members’ arm tattoos don’t match their cousins’.

The reason behind this lies in Tama Tonga and The Bloodline’s familial past. Those who don’t already know the reason behind the same may find it intriguing.

Why is the MFT’s arm tattoo different from Roman Reigns?

The reason behind the difference in their traditional arm tattoos is the fact that The Bloodline is neither ‘blood-related’ to Tama Tonga nor his brother. Despite being a member of the heel stable alongside his Polynesian cousins, the Bullet Club founder belongs to the Tongan lineage rather than Samoan.

As fans know by now, Tonga is Haku‘s adoptive son, whose background is Tongan. While both bloodlines are Samoan, the difference in the family history explains the non-identical arm tattoos. The same goes for Tanga Loa, Haku’s other son, who showed up to help his brothers in France, allowing them to bag the victory.

This is possibly the explanation for why their tattoos don’t match Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, or either of The Usos. However, this doesn’t make the Tongans strangers to the new ‘Rogue Bloodline’.

But there’s a possibility that we may see conflict arising against the ruthlessness that Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga are showing. So, it could give rise to a family drama that fans may be hooked to see.

Roman Reigns might come back to take back control

Although The Tribal Chief didn’t hold back in using different antics to bag a victory, speculation suggests that he could end up having a change of heart following his major loss. Moreover, he may be kicked out of The Bloodline because of how he lost the title at the biggest PLE of the year. So, Roman Reigns may have to stand up to Solo Sikoa and the Tongan brothers to either disband or win back The Bloodline.

This will show us that even though the Tongan brothers are not blood-related to the Samoans, they are considered more of a member than the former WWE Undisputed Champion.
