According to insider BWE, there were initial talks of the Leader of the Cenation being a part of the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames. The Premium Live Event aims to bring back the concept of pitting stars from Raw and SmackDown against each other. However, according to the reports, the talks of John Cena being a part of it have reached a standstill. This might come to fans as a disappointment, as the 46-year-old star would have been a valuable asset to the blue brand of WWE.

Cena, who faced The Bloodline’s Reinforcer Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel, suffered a low-blow defeat. After putting together a spectacular fight against Sikoa, the taxing battle left the star exhausted. The veteran was then attacked by the 30-year-old star by multiple Samoan Spikes and was later pinned for the count of three. Following his defeat, Cena sat in the ring contemplating his defeat as the fans gave him a standing ovation. He then later thanked the audience present at the arena and left. Since then, there has been no news of his whereabouts.

On the 10/27 episode of SmackDown, none other than Paul Heyman foreshadowed John Cena’s defeat and retirement. The Wiseman first went on to talk about how  Cena happened to be a real-life superhero by putting on spectacular shows for the audience. He showed his admiration and respect for the former Doctor of Thugonomics, but the tone quickly changed. Since the announcement of the fight, Cena emphasized the importance of winning it.

Heyman said things are going to change now. He said that now that Cena is on the bad side of the Bloodline, the end of his career is inevitable. Heyman said that John Cena would indeed lose this milestone fight of his career. In his very own words, he said, “This is not a prediction, this is a spoiler”. Fans only thought of it as a warning back then. But now, with his defeat, it might be highly possible that the 46-year-old star will depart sooner than the fans thought he would.

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
