In a recent interview, Reigns shoots on CM Punk for not being as over with the crowd as John Cena and The Rock. However, Hardcore legend Mick Foley took to Twitter to let his feelings known.
Mick Foley says Punk changed the wrestling business
In response to Reigns’ comments, WWE legend Mick Foley gave Roman a piece of his mind. Foley did not acknowledge the Tribal Chief, but acknowledged CM Punk’s greatness in the ring. Foley and Punk never shared the ring, but they shared a light-hearted moment during Foley’s Hall of Fame induction.
The Hardcore legend further added if Punk ever returned, he will reclaim the top-guy spot in the wrestling business. There is some truth to Foley’s claims, at least with the rumors surrounding Punk’s AEW debut.

“I do think there’s that strange threshold, but I think those statements are coming from bitter people who possibly thought they were better than they really were. When it comes down to it, CM Punk was not as good or as over as a John Cena, wasn’t as good or as over or moved the needle like The Rock. It just was what it was.” Roman said.
