The SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair kicked off SmackDown: October 29th, 2021. In the previous episode, she exchanged the Raw Women’s Title with Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Championship, and caused some problems backstage.

The Queen arrived to the ring and addressed the audience. Her words showed that her ego and pride were through the roof.

“As more things change, the more they stay the same. Charlotte flair, the SmackDown women’s champion. That’s six times now? That’s what you do. Cause none of you can do what I can do. I’m not only the face of this division, I’m the face of this company. Most decorated woman in sports entertainment history. No one is going to change that.”

However, Sasha Banks said it previously that she runs the show, and hence, deserves a title shot. And, at this show, she said the same.

“Did you say leader? Charlotte, please, nobody is buying that. You don’t care about any of the women, you only care about holding them down. When is my SmackDown women’s championship match?”

But, The Queen believes there should be a new face challenging for the title. And, out came Shotzi, revealing herself to be the new potential challenger for the title.

Charlotte Flair granted Shotzi a contenders match

Charlotte Flair and Shotzi went head-to-head in the first match of SmackDown: October 29th, 2021. Even before Shotzi could get a shot, Flair smashed her twice and tried to pin her.

Sasha Banks continued to motivate her while The Queen kept getting the better of her. Flair rained Shotzi with kicks, punches, and pins. However, Shotzi did take over the match after a point.

She tried to pin her with a roll-up, kicked her, and even tried to take her down with a jump from the top turnbuckle, but it failed. Finally, Sasha Banks distracted Flair ringside while Shotzi took a running leap from the ring to take her down.

Unfortunately, this was not enough to take down The Queen. But, she almost had Flair after taking her down from the top turnbuckle.

There came a point when both women tried to pin the other multiple times, but failed multiple times.

Finally, Shotzi got distracted by Banks and Flair pinned her after punching her by crashing on a distracted Shotzi.

This is definitely the start of a new feud in WWE. Are you ready?
