“Don’t Even Know What It Is” – Dominik Mysterio Accuses WWE of Robbing Him of a Win Against His Masked Rival Who Didn’t Get a “Clean Pin”

There is one superstar on the current roster that the WWE fans just love to hate. That’s none other than ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio. Although a part of the dominant faction on RAW The Judgement Day, fans still consider him as the weakest link in the group.

But of late he has made a name for himself on NXT where he is the current NXT North American Champion. And last week he engaged in a mixed tag team match on NXT where he lost. However, the 26-year-old has a differing viewpoint.

Dominik Mysterio says that Dragon Lee didn’t pin him cleanly

Ever since his title win, Dominik Mysterio and ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley have become regulars on the NXT show. Last week, they were in a mixed tag team match against Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria.

And while ‘Mami’ typically dominates her opponent outside the ring, Dominik could not indulge in the same share of luck. And to make matters bad to worse, Raquel Rodriguez popped out of nowhere and attacked Rhea Ripley.

That distracted ‘Dirty’ Dom for a bit and Lee took advantage by delivering a powerful DDT. The devastating move helped him secure victory as he pinned Mysterio to win the match. But ‘Dirty’ Dom had a differing viewpoint as he suggested his shoulders were not all the way down. On last night’s WWE’s The Bump, he narrated the entire incident.

He said, “I mean you are watching what happened, Raquel again blindsiding Mami from behind, I get distracted and there he is, I don’t even know what that is, my shoulders are not even down. If you watch it back, his hand was under my shoulder so both shoulders weren’t down so technically it wasn’t a clean pin and I was also distracted by Raquel beating up my Mami and Mami not being there, it doesn’t count”.

And this coming week on NXT, Mysterio has a chance to exact revenge for this loss with Dragon Lee.

Dominik Mysterio will be the special guest referee for the match between Dragon Lee and Mustafa Ali

Come next week, Dragon Lee squares off against Mustafa Ali to decide the #1 contender for Mysterio’s title. The inclusion of ‘Dirty’ Dom as the special guest referee could complicate things further.

Mysterio will definitely be looking to settle last week’s score with Lee during this match. At the same time, he will also look to put Ali in his place after he savagely trolled both Mami and him backstage. But if Lee succeeds in winning this match and securing a title shot, it won’t be the first time he faces Mysterio for the title.

3 weeks ago, the two superstars wrestled for the title with Mysterio winning the match after some assistance from Mami. When asked his thoughts on Lee, he replied, “You know i don’t have much thought on him, i beat him. He kind of beat me, my shoulder wasn’t all the way down. I mean he is probably ugly, he wears a mask”.
