Being the host of WWE Payback, John Cena thought that he needed to take part in the PLE himself. So, he inserted himself in the feud between The Miz and LA Knight by making himself the referee.

But with Cena in the ring, you can always count on the 16-time to bring juice to the arena, but this time, it was after the match. After winning his match, Knight met Cena at the entrance ramp but started arguing with Cena. Instead of anything drastic, Cena did the same thing he did for Cody Rhodes and endorsed another fan-favorite.
