WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg returned to WWE on Monday Night RAW this week. The Myth announced he “is next” in line to face WWE Champion Bobby Lashley as he laughed in his face.
Fans are well aware that Goldberg’s contract states he would partake in only two matches per ear till 2022. His first match of the year was against then-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble which he lost.
Now, the upcoming SummerSlam match would be his second and final match for 2021. There is no news on whether the match would be one-on-one or triple-threat or any other because there are a lot of potential candidates on RAW.

However, despite the match being his final WWE match for this year, the 54-year-old veteran is not taking things lightly. In a recent Instagram video, Goldberg was seen practicing football.
In the video, Goldberg was tackling a practice model on the field. He wrote, “Putting in work reliving the good old football days…. Far from good form but the violence is there…”

For those who don’t know, before Goldberg made his name as a pro wrestler, he was an up-and-coming football player. He played defensive tackle for Georgia Bulldogs and The Los Angeles Rams.
In 1992 through the 1994 seasons, he played with The Rams, CFL Sacramento Gold Miners, and Atlanta Falcons. In 1995 he was selected by the Carolina Panthers but was cut off soon. His NFL Football career ended after he “tore his lower abdomen off his pelvis.”
