The ladies are on fire today. The fans saw a fierce kickoff segment on SmackDown where Bayley tried to sow the seeds of conflict between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, given their rocky history with each other. It is no secret that Flair and Lynch have had some animosity in the past.

So Bayley tried to use it to her advantage and plot the two teammates against each other. And it looks like her evil plan is working and it might benefit Damage CTRL in their Survivor Series WarGames match tomorrow.

In the kickoff segment, after a battle of words with Bayley, Lynch challenged any two members of Damage CTRL to face her and ‘The Queen’ tonight. During a backstage segment, Flair revealed that she talked to Adam Pierce and Nick Aldis and they gave the match a green light.

Upon hearing this ‘The Man’ felt betrayed as she thought her teammate went behind her back and talked to the authority alone. She told Flair, “If you didn’t trust me, why did you call me?”. It looks like the Damage CTRL leader is getting successful in her divide-and-conquer plan as hints of conflict can be seen arising between Flair and Lynch a day before their WarGames match.

Lynch and Flair were involved in a real-life rivalry

Lynch and Flair have always been each other’s biggest competition since their early days in NXT. Even when they came to the main roster together, the competition continued. The quest to get to the top of the business forged a rivalry between the two superstars.

However, the rivalry was not limited to on-screen only. What started as a kayfabe feud soon turned into a real-life beef, with both women eyeing the top spot in WWE. In fact, Lynch’s ex-boyfriend, Jeff Dye, made a revelation that both the female wrestlers hated each other.

If this issue resurfaces at Survivor Series then, it won’t be possible for the two superstars to wrestle in harmony at their women’s WarGames match. It could also give their opponents a tremendous advantage over them and make them lose their match.
