In recent WWE times, we have witnessed that Brock Lesnar is an icon who brings life to the company where he appears. There is a reason we have seen Brock Lesnar come back to the WWE three times this year alone. His comeback videos on YouTube have reached hundreds of millions in views and no other WWE superstars, not even Roman Reigns or Ronda Rousey, came close.

It is a testament to the Brock Lesnar brand that even if he changes everything about him, even kicking out Paul Heyman from his side, fans won’t ever get enough of him. But this is only about his WWE appearances over the years. What about his UFC ones?

Former UFC Champion talked about when Brock Lesnar returned to the UFC

On her popular podcast, Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, the former WWE interviewer asked the UFC Heavyweight fighter Stipe Miocic about his loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 and Brock Lesnar‘s return announcement to the UFC on the same night.

The former two-time Heavyweight Champion said, “I want to go home. I just lost. It’s just kind of weird I haven’t even lost in a couple of years. I just kinda felt that I got knocked out by the guy I should’ve knocked out. It was just kind of a cluster. I had no idea what’s going on.

He continued, “I figured he was probably going to come there because right before I walked out they showed him (Brock Lesnar) on a cut in the TV. I see what’s going on here. You kind of put two and two together, but yeah, it was just kind of weird. I wish I would have gotten my moment to speak ‘hey guys, I want a rematch’ which didn’t happen.”

Even when Lesnar switched companies for the first time, he was still the biggest draw the UFC had. His win over Randy Couture in his 3rd fight and winning the UFC World Championship launched it into the mainstream. Along with that, Lesnar also brought in WWE fans to the company where fights weren’t scripted and there were no pre-taped promos.
