Ronda Rousey Wants Former UFC Fighter to Join Her in WWE Sooner Than Later: “I Think It Would Be Super Cool”

After winning the WWE Royal Rumble Match, Ronda Rousey has her eyes set straight at the main event of WrestleMania. She will face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The former WWE Raw Women’s Champion made her surprise return at Royal Rumble 2022. She came back to WWE all guns blazing soon after giving birth to her first baby.
Since her return, Rousey has been the hottest topic in wrestling, getting powerful reactions from the fans. The former UFC Champion is not only popular in professional wrestling, but she is also one of the greatest MMA fighters in history. Along with her, WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler also competed in UFC.
Recently, Ronda expressed that she would love to see another former UFC fighter in the WWE ring.

Recently, Ronda Rousey hosted a Facebook live stream while she played a game. There she answered many questions posed by fans who tuned into the stream and said she really wants to see her husband Travis Browne enter the WWE ring.
Rousey said, “I think it would be super cool but it also seems like the type of thing, they would want us to move to Florida and do the whole PC thing. But yeah. Life is busy here at Browsey Acres, we got a lot to do,” Rousey added. “We’ve got two boys out here,we can’t just be moving to Orlando”
Travis Browne is a mixed martial artist himself and has also competed in UFC. He holds a professional record of 18-7-1 and is an exceptional athlete. He has so far never competed in WWE, but he has been seen multiple times behind the barricades during Rousey’s matches.
Ronda Rousey to team with Shayna Baszler?
On the same Facebook live stream, ‘Rowdy’ also gave fans a tease about her teaming up with her friend Shayna. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler have a long history going back to their days as fighters in the UFC.

They together formed half of the Four Horsewomen of MMA and also shared a moment with each other at the Royal Rumble match. This prompted fans to ask Ronda about the possibility of a tag team with Baszler.

Ronda said, “I wanna tag with Shayna so bad guys. Just make demands for it online nonstop. They look at that s**t” Ronda added. “Me and Shayna should be tag team champs.” H/T Wrestling Inc.

Rousey further rallied her fans to make demands online on social media for her teaming up with Baszler. She expressed that WWE actually pays attention to fan demands on social media. Only time will tell if we will see Travis Browne grace the squared circle. But the prospect of Rousey and Baszler teaming up seems even more exciting.
