Brock Lesnar made some adjustments to his enormous WWE career, deciding to explore his MMA talent back in 2007. He quickly rose to the top of UFC  and recorded a short but impactful tint over the years. That said, the UFC journey of WWE’s high-rated fixture didn’t come without some pinch of controversies.

Lesnar has dipped his feet in several sports apart from WWE. But his UFC run deserves special mention for obvious reasons. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ started receiving his flower after showcasing his skills in UFC, winning the Heavyweight title in his third fight. The heavyweight sensation visibly dominated inside the octagon for some years before hanging up his boots. However, not everyone is a fan of what Lesnar did in his UFC heyday.

UFC legend Don Frye is quite popular for his fiery, outrageous takes on other superstars. The UFC Hall of Famer never minced his words while giving his raw pieces of opinions about anything and everything. And it seems like the UFC pioneer doesn’t believe in a sportsman’s spirit, especially when it comes to his fellow fighter, Brock Lesnar.

Frye taking jabs at Lesnar isn’t something new. There have been many instances when the 57-year-old raised doubts about Lesnar’s credibility as a notable UFC figure. But right after his UFC retirement following a defeat at the hands of Alistair Overeem in 2011, Frye went to the extreme to dismiss Lesnar’s ability to perform in the cage.

In one of his past interviews, The Predator noted, ‘Brock Lesnar has no talent, Brock Lesnar shouldn’t be in the cage, you know Brock Lesnar needs to stay in WWE. Nobody mans up and says that guy’s an a**hole. These guys are just wonderful, we all are professional athletes and we respect each other. Shove it up you’re a**.’

However, despite dishing out harsh criticisms several times, Frye once expected The Beast Incarnate to revert back to the octagon.

Don Frye slyly hopes for Lesnar’s reappearance in the Octagon

Brock Lesnar came out of retirement back in 2016 to compete in UFC 200. Putting a stop to the long wait, helaced up his boots to take on Mark Hunt. He came out successful, too, attracting a lot of spotlights at his returning match. However, he had to give up on his victory later due to a failed drug test. Since then, Lesnar turned to his WWE endeavor with a full-fledged focus and has never been seen in UFC.

But according to Frye, Lesnar still has a fair chance to resume his UFC run. While many fans didn’t really see it coming, Frye thinks everything can be possible with a good paycheck. Considering Lesnar’s role in bringing extra pay-per-view money for the company, Frye thinks he would be a real deal to Dana White’s promotion.

Now, we need to see, besides being in the middle of an incredible WWE run, if Lesner comes back to the UFC ever or not.
