There is no factor in the world that can interfere with a genuine friendship between two people, not even long distance. Bayley has proved that friendship sees no bounds. Even after being hundreds of miles away from Mercedes Mone (formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE), she leaves no stone unturned when it comes to supporting her best friend.

Though the Role Model and The CEO in WWE had a rocky relationship on-screen, their off-screen bond was very strong. The two best friends who started off as on-screen rivals took the WWE’s women’s division to a whole new level. Both superstars, along with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, were called the Four Horse Women of WWE.

The 2-time Women’s SmackDown Champion recently went to her Twitter handle to leave a beautiful message for her best friend. Tagging Mone in the tweet, the leader of the faction, Damage CTRL writes, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure… – Marianne Williamson.” Bayley even put a ‘GOAT’ sticker acknowledging her best friend.

The former Raw Women’s Champion shared the tweet just hours before the former WWE star’s in-ring debut in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion NJPW. This shows that no matter how far both the best friends are, they never stop thinking about one another and will always be there to support each other.

Mercedes Mone is the new IWGP Women’s Champion

Mone made her return to the pro wrestling world on her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17. After Kairi secured a victory against her opponent, Tam Nakano, to retain her IWGP Women’s title, the 31-year-old wrestler made her debut in the Tokyo-based promotion and confronted the Japanese pro wrestler.

She came to congratulate Kairi for retaining her title but left the ring, making a statement by laying her flat on the floor. The former ‘Boss’ in WWE declared herself as the CEO of the women’s division and claimed that she will create history. Mone’s debut left fans cheering for her comeback.

Fast forward to 18 February, she faced Kairi (also a former WWE star) for the Championship match at NJPW Battle in the Valley event. The CEO defeated the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion and became the new Champion. This was a significant achievement as Banks is now only the second woman to hold that title.

Fans saw Sasha Banks for the last time in WWE last year in May when she walked out of the wrestling company during an episode of the red brand.
