The media remote, from PDP Gaming, is compatible with the Xbox One console as well. It features motion-activated back-lit buttons and will make navigation even easier, thanks to its compact design. Although this item will be available from the 5th of next month, you can pre-order it right now.
However, a section of fans is considering not buying this since the media remote from their previous-gen consoles works just fine. Even Microsoft has already confirmed that previous-gen remotes will work on the next-gen consoles, so that sounds fair.

Microsoft had to burst their bubble unfortunately and explain that this was due to a system error. The consoles are still out of stock at many online retail options.
But in any case, the wait has neared an end, and looks like the latest member in the Xbox family will be well worth it.
