Twitter Explodes after Shocking AEW Championship Match Ending
While NXT TakeOver was soaring high with shockers, nothing can beat what went down at AEW today in the TNT Championship Match. Cody Rhodes was set to defend his title against a driven Brodie Lee.
People expected a good fight, and Cody was the favorite to come out on top. However, everything was turned on its head!

Brodie Lee dominated the match and sent Cody into la-la land. The TNT Champion seemed like dead weight to Brodie as he tossed him around the ring like a football.

Cody struggled to get any offence in during the heavily lopsided match-up. On his part, Brodie spared no hostility against the defending Champion.

Before you knew it, Cody was done. To finish things off, Brodie pulled him up for a brutal Discuss Clothesline and pinned his lifeless body.

The sheer dominance shown by Brodie Lee was surprising to most AEW fans. It’s rare to see Cody flounder against his opponents.

However, it’s fair to say that he was absolutely routed today, as Brodie Lee stood tall, becoming the new AEW TNT Champion. As Cody was being carried away on a stretcher, the new Champion still showed no mercy.

The Dark Order assaulted Arn Anderson (Cody’s Manager) and then threw Cody off the stretcher.

Cody’s wife, Brandi Rhodes, rushed out to help him and to prevent The Dark Order from inflicting any further damage. However, Anna Jay stepped in and locked Brandi in a Choke Hold.

This win could mean big for The Dark Order, as they have finally managed to establish themselves as a faction in AEW.
I rewatched Dynamite again. This was one of the best Dynamite storytelling wise ever.
