But one name fans will always remember is Danica Patrick, who is the only woman to have won an IndyCar race.

Danica Patrick makes a bold statement on social media

It has been a while since Danica retired from the racing stint to pursue her entrepreneurial journey. Her podcast series ‘Pretty Intense’ is very popular among fans. In her free time, we do see her active on her social media. In one of those instances, she posted a post on her story on Instagram. In the picture, a man is wearing a white coat with a lot of brand logos on the coat.

The picture she shared had the text, “Scientists should wear sponsor jackets like NASCAR drivers, so we know who owns them.”

Knowing Danica, this was arguably a dig at them. While people who think only NASCAR drivers are sponsored by brands and such should find out how any research gets funded.

She makes it clear by writing that if they wear the logos on their coats like NASCAR drivers, the world will know who runs them.

It is not always that Danica herself becomes the reason for controversies, sometimes the controversies find her too. It is ironic that even when she doesn’t intend to do something, observant fans find a thing or two to get entertained. In an incident last year, she had fans in splits.

Danica had announced the release of a new podcast on Instagram. She had three best-selling authors as guests, one of them being the author of her favorite book. Interestingly, it was not the people or content that caught the viewer’s attention, but the mishap. The fans found the word “h*es” written between the ring light behind her and everyone had their interpretations of it.

Patrick had to clarify and explain to the fans that it was a shot-ski from her birthday boat trip and it says ‘boats N h*es’
