The Swiss ace was quick to mention that most of his friends have retired.
Federer and Wawrinka have played a number of matches over the years. They’ve represented Switzerland at the Olympic Games and have won a gold medal in doubles.
Federer arrived in Doha last evening and is headlining the event this year. The 39-year-old is the most successful player at the venue, having won the tournament thrice, in 2005, 2006, and 2011.
After the event in Doha, Roger is scheduled to play at the Dubai Duty Tennis Championships. He has won the event eight times, which is more than any other player.
