Brian Cage Believes the Amount of Work Tony Khan Does in AEW is Too Much for One Person

AEW President Tony Khan has really challenged WWE in terms of ratings and viewership and AEW has constantly upgraded its roster with fun and unique storylines.
Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan came out alongside the family of Jon Huber, aka Brodie Lee to honor his in-ring legacy and start a non-profit foundation called the ‘Jon Huber Legacy Foundation’. However, one AEW superstar revealed that the AEW President working day and night and is responsible for everything we see on the TV.

Brian Cage talks about how much Tony Khan is responsible for in AEW
‘The Machine’ Brian Cage recently appeared on Dan Severn and Don Frye’s ‘Toxic Masculinity’ podcast, in which Cage shed light on Tony Khan’s contributions in AEW.
When Brian was asked about the brains behind these storylines and how much the AEW creative is involved, Cage chuckled and said that there was no creative team and Tony Khan tries to do everything himself.

He confessed Khan should lay off a little and let the AEW EVPs like Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks, chip in and share a stake in the responsibilities of the company.
“What’s crazy, creative team? No. It’s just Tony. Tony Khan who owns it [AEW] and he does so much anyway already, it’s literally just all him. He’ll have some help or input from other guys and some of the EVPs that you know helped start it like The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes.”
“They kind of help do their own stuff, but Tony pretty much has the final and only say on majority of the entire product which is a little nuts. I do think that it could benefit with some of the people helping out on that,” he said.
Brian Cage shuts down reporters who are twisting his words
Soon after this interview, many sports journalists portrayed Brian’s comments in a negative light saying that Tony Khan is crushing other ideas in AEW.
Cage immediately took to Twitter and cleared the air.

“Really. F**king news articles trying to paint me saying something negative when I said nothing but positive. Read the transcript or listen to the podcast. I said its ‘nuts’ that TK takes on all that responsibility when he has so many other responsibilities.” Cage wrote.

It feels good that this “rivalry” between AEW and WWE is compelling the management to bring the best out of their employers and entertain the fans.
