The tide in pro wrestling has shifted big time since the opening of the Forbidden Door. This historic decision from Tony Khan has brought some very interesting crossovers between NJPW, AEW and Impact Wrestling over the past few months. However, Dr. Britt Baker isn’t interested to leave AEW even through the forbidden door.

While the forbidden door is wide open, it doesn’t seem to be the case with the women. There haven’t been a lot of crossovers with the male superstars, but not that many with the women. In fact, there have been only a handful of crossover women’s matches in the past few months.

Although Baker admitted she wants to wrestle women from other promotions, but also clarified that she won’t go to any other company to make it happen.

She said, “I’m not going anywhere because I’m in the hottest professional wrestling company on the planet. So I don’t need to go anywhere. They can come here, and that’s fine, but I have no desire to go anywhere because they can all come to us.”

When asked why she wouldn’t go to other promotions, considering Kenny Omega does it regularly despite being AEW World Champion, the ‘Role Model’ had a strong reasoning. She said Kenny can do what he wants, and everyone forges their own path.

She continued, “Everyone has their own different path. I’m the baddest b***h of the block in AEW and, again, if they want to come to me, I welcome them all with open arms. Please step foot in my ring.

Dr. Britt Baker is oozing confidence and speaking like a staunch champion, or shall we say, a representative of the company. There are tons of outstanding women’s wrestlers outside AEW, and given the ease of working, they could very well appear to challenge Baker.
