Kenny Omega proved his mettle once more at AEW Full Gear with an exquisite display of skill against “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear. The two fought in an epic battle to become the number one contender for the AEW Championship of Jon Moxley.

The match started with some early domination from Hangman. After a high boot to the face, he tossed Omega across the ring. It was clear that the veteran was not going to have an easy win as he did against Sonny Kiss.

Hangman had everything to fight for. He was part of the Bullet Club headed by Kenny Omega, and most recently, he won the AEW Tag Team Championships with “The Cleaner.”

Instead of cutting his partner loose from the faction, Omega tried to work with him to improve, and hence, the tag team collaboration began. Unfortunately, it all did not work out as expected.

After subsequent losses, Omega attacked Page himself, exiling him from the faction and breaking the flawed partnership. This match was retribution for Hangman who wanted to take it all away from his former leader.

Hangman gave Kenny Omega a run for his money

Kenny Omega, however, is a far more experienced wrestler. Using his knowledge from various wrestling promotions over the last decade, he managed to tire out his opponent.

Hangman took the pain to Omega by throwing him into a powerbomb onto the mat outside the ring. Coming back quickly, Hangman had several bursts of energy.
