Ryan Nemeth is set to make headlines in the wrestling world when he makes his AEW debut on Wednesday night. The former NXT talent is ready to show the world what he’s all about.
Nemeth performed in NXT in 2013 but was released in 2014 after just one year of active competition. He was told that the program had no place for him and that he wasn’t good enough. Determined to prove them wrong, Nemeth sought to improve his skills.

In a recent mini-documentary by AEW, Ryan Nemeth revealed how his release from WWE motivated him to be a better wrestler and to work on his talent.
“I got my first break probably when WWE released me. To them, to that company, I wasn’t good enough. I was just in the shadow of my older brother,” explained Nemeth. “So to give it a shot in AEW to prove myself, to prove I’m not someone’s little brother, I’m not some other companies reject, I am the ‘Hollywood Hunk’ and I will be winning titles in AEW.”

“There’s nothing that motivates you quite like your hero, people you looked up to your whole life, telling you, ‘Hey, you’re not good enough. You’re not what we’re looking for. You don’t bring anything to the table. We don’t need you’ because that just lit a fire inside me to spend the last few years proving myself in Hollywood, on the Indies, in movie, in film,” explained the Superstar.

“I am good enough. I’m beyond good enough and they’re going to be very sorry when they see me main-eventing in AEW because that’s where I belong,” Nemeth concluded.
