The 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz has one regret. The US Open champion who wants to face every tennis player on the ATP circuit regrets not getting a chance to face the swiss maestro, Roger Federer. His coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, recently opened up about the tennis player’s biggest regret in an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports.
Every player wants to play against the big three at least once in their career. However, following the retirement of the Swiss Maestro, only Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are still in the tennis circuit.

The 43-year-old former tennis player, in an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, talked about his coaching strategies while also highlighting the 19-year-old tennis star’s competitive side. Along with that, he also pointed out about Nadal’s retirement possibility and emphasized on the fact that if the world number eight keeps his competitive spirit intact, he still has some time left on the professional tour.
However, while talking about retirements, he focused on how Alcaraz should get more opportunities to face the big three as he is ready to level up his game. He said, “I wish Carlos can compete with Rafa and Novak as much as possible. It will make him better. He regrets he hadn’t been able to compete against Roger.”
