Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios is having a great year. He had his best-ever run in the Wimbledon. The 27-year-old made it to the final before losing to Novak Djokovic. Later, the Aussie also performed well in the tournaments leading up to the US Open.

In the last Grand Slam of the year, Kyrgios had a quarterfinal run. Currently, the 27-year-old is enjoying his time in Mexico. The Wimbledon finalist was in the North American country to play an exhibition match against Briton Cameron Norrie. Later, the 27-year-old also came up with an interesting story on his Instagram account.

Nick Kyrgios reveals who is the best

After a tough tennis calendar that saw the Aussie complaining about his travel fatigue, he is enjoying some time off. The Wimbledon finalist traveled to Mexico to play against Cameron Norrie in an exhibition match.

After defeating the Briton in straight sets, the 27-year-old came up with a sassy self-praising Instagram story. Kyrgios uploaded a picture of himself in action with the caption, “One of the best in the world at what I do”.

Kyrgios apologizes to the fan, he accused of being drunk

Earlier this year, Kyrgios faced Djokovic in the final of the Wimbledon Championships 2022. He lost the four-set match and Djokovic registered his 21st Grand Slam title. Meanwhile, the Aussie complained that a fan from the stands was distracting him. Later, he made an accusation that she must be drunk.

Later, the fan came up with her version of the story and claimed Kyrgios’ accusation to be completely baseless. The fan also threatened to take legal action against the Aussie. However, Kyrgios finished the matter as he apologized to her for his words. Further, the 27-year-old also donated £20,000 to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity chosen by the fan to settle the matter.
