The year 2022 has been full of controversies for the Serbian legend. The 35-year-old was unable to defend his Australian Open title because of his stand against the COVID-19 vaccine. His arrival in Australia, followed by the deportation, meant that the 35-year-old will have a three-year visa ban for Australia.
However, there’s good news for Djokovic fans. The Serb has got the green light from the Australian Government to play in the Australian Open 2023. Since the covid-19 rules are not in place anymore, the unvaccinated status of Djokovic is no more a problem.
