The director of Erste Bank Open, Herwig Straka seemed very happy after the decision was made. He sees this as an advantage and feels expect a healthy crowd attendance at Erste Bank Open. The tournament will commence from 25th October to 31st October in Vienna, Austria. Andrey Rublev is the current defending champion.
“I think that’s a good solution because it means we don’t have to comply with the other option, namely that we have to keep our distance and let fewer people in,” he told the press. “They waited with the advance booking because they didn’t know what capacity restrictions there might be. “If people are allowed to get vaccinated or recovered, then we expect a full house. That’s why we support that,” Straka added.
