The air of disappointment once again surrounds Carlos Alcaraz as he recently faced a semi-final defeat at the Argentina Open. While the fans appeared to be regaining confidence because of his form on the tour, the conclusion leaves them distressed. Alcaraz once remarked that he wanted to win more Grand Slam titles than Djokovic. However, to calm his fans down, he at least needs to qualify for the finals.

Carlos Alcaraz’s exit from the Argentina Open marks his seventh tour in a row in which he couldn’t even make it to the finals. While fans created a huge fort of expectations for the young Spaniard, his current form makes it seem like the fort is under attack.

The social media is currently bloated with two types of comments on Carlos Alcaraz. While some fans are criticizing the young Spaniard for his consistently diminishing graph, some others are backing him, considering it just a phase that he will overcome. Recently, an Instagram post drew stats of the recent tournaments that Alcaraz played and derived a perspective that said, “Carlitos hasn’t made it back to a title match since that crazy day(Cincy final vs Djokovic). Has it been a factor or are we giving it too much thought?”
