Tennis star Alexander Zverev recently posted a hilarious birthday message for his girlfriend Sophia Thomalla, even amid his tight schedule at the Shanghai Masters. Zverev has made it to the latter stages of the ATP Masters event in Shanghai. Before going to China, he defeated Roman Safiullin and lifted the Chengdu Open title.

Despite having to deal with his busy schedule, Zverev was determined to celebrate Thomalla’s 34th birthday on October 6th, even in Shanghai. He took to social media to wish his girlfriend well on her special day. In classic Zverev fashion, the tribute was both sweet and humorous.

Zverev jokingly called Thomalla a “multitalented physiotherapist” while showing off her credentials. Zverev also praised her for being like a mother to his dogs Lovik and Junior, dubbing her their “panda mom” referring to the four panda plush souvenirs he gifted her after his Chengdu Open title win. Even after losing the game, the former US Open finalist’s love and levity shone through in honoring his longtime girlfriend’s birthday.

In his Instagram post, Zverev wrote, “Happy birthday to the multitalented physio, panda mom and dog sitter 🎂🥳💃🏼 Lack of career options was never a problem but I thought people should know the most important ones 😂😂❤️❤️,” leaving fans in awe yet smiling wide.
