The recent run of Andy Murray on the ATP tour so far has been nothing short of extraordinary, despite the result. In almost every match, the former world no.1 had produced a fight back and ended up winning some and losing a few as well.
After losing out to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz in the second round at Vienna, Murray is all set to play the final Masters 1000 event of the season in Paris next week. The Brit will likely face a qualifier in his opening-round match.

“I’ve been haunted by Novak for a lot of my career, to be honest, so I’ll probably go with Roger,” Andy commented.

Both Murray and Djokovic met each other thirty-six times on the ATP tour, and it’s the Serb who enjoys a clear domination over Andy with 25 wins. Their last meeting came four years ago in the finals of ATP Qatar Open, where Djokovic defeated the Brit in a three-set thriller.
Murray enjoys a better head-to-head win percentage against Federer

On the other hand, Murray enjoys a better head-to-head percentage against Roger Federer. On the twenty-five occasions the duo met on tour so far, Federer won 14 of them while Murray managed to win 11 matches.
Because of his drop in rankings, Murray has been facing a lot of youngsters on tour over the past couple of years. While a fair amount of players managed to get the better of Andy, the former world no.1 is ensuring that he still has the same amount of energy to entertain the crowd.

Even after Paris Masters, the three-time grand slam champion decided to play the Stockholm Open as he accepted another wild card to play the event. It’s heartening to see Andy Murray wanting to play as many matches as possible to have some victories under his belt ahead of the 2022 ATP season.
