Billionaire Roger Federer Shows Love for Kids With a Giant-Hearted Move in His Home Country As Local Children Gets Benefitted Through His Foundation

The tennis great Roger Federer and his foundation have significantly contributed to society throughout the years. With his foundation, he has done some fantastic charity work. Specifically, he has launched some great initiatives for less fortunate children in Switzerland and South Africa. However, the Roger Federer Foundation is now prepared to present a magnanimous gift to the children of an educational institution in his homeland.

The Swiss maestro is truly an inspiration both on and off the tennis court. He set an excellent example for everyone on the tennis court with the way he played and the way he conducted himself. On the other hand, the 41-year-old tennis player’s extensive philanthropic activities outside of the tennis circuit explain his overall demeanor.

Roger Federer Foundation to work on the Mendrisio project

A newspaper, Corriere del Ticino, reported that the 20-time Grand Slam champion and his foundation are ready to give the children of Mendrisio repurposed natural landscapes near the educational facility in Mendrisio. By 2025, the foundation wants to have 100 new outdoor recreation places all around Switzerland.

Nevertheless, the foundation chose the Mendrisio project and will give 40,000 francs for the construction.

The director of the school, Marco Lupi, in conversation with the newspaper, talked about the foundation creating natural spaces for their children. He stated, “Obviously it will not be possible to create a lawn, because underneath there is the great hall, but I am sure that something interesting and beautiful can be created, involving all the users of that area, therefore also Scoiattolo and families.”

Technically, the foundation will create recreational places inspired by nature inside the educational facility to support the kids’ development.

Federer’s  foundation has also assisted kids in South Africa in addition to Switzerland. The foundation  made a significant contribution to improving education in South Africa over two years ago.

Roger Federer’s Foundation once launched a unique initiative to educate children in Africa 

The former No. 1 tennis player and his foundation collaborated successfully to launch an initiative with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar to improve the quality of early education in over 30 schools in South Africa, which would benefit 20,000 children and give them a better start in school.

The former tennis player, in a video posted on the official Twitter account of Educate A Child program, talked about his partnership with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser for their new plan of action. He continued by emphasizing how important this relationship is in order to solve the global issues in education and bring about a significant improvement for the next generation.
