2023 in a nutshell for Frances Tiafoe: How did he perform this year?

Frances Tiafoe had a great start to the season. After a bad run at the Australian Open, he managed to secure two consecutive quarter-final appearances at the Dallas Open and the Mexican Open followed by a semi-final appearance in the Indian Wells Masters. Shortly after, his form continued and he managed to win the ATP Houston Open followed by title success at the Stuttgart Open as well.

However, his season at grass was short-lived. Then came the hard court season and he did fantastically well at the US Open where he managed to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament. Then at the Laver Cup, he helped Team World lay their hands on the successive title triumph. But, he did not have a great ending to the year as successive eliminations at the Shanghai Masters, Paris Masters, and Japan Open did not allow him to stand a chance to qualify for the ATP Finals.
