Nick Kyrgios won’t let go
During the third round of the grass-based Grand Slam Kyrgios and world no.4 initiated a full-fledged argument. In the end, the Aussie outclassed the Greek in a four-set long match and advanced in the tournament. Though he isn’t done with the bickering. Recently, while announcing his plans for the next month’s Washington Open, he said, “I’m super excited to see Jack Sock. We’ve got doubles in DC, which I’m super excited about.”
Thereafter, he took a dig at Tsitsipas and added, “I’ve had Stefanos as a partner there, so it can’t get much worse than that.” The argument had an unpleasant end. As an agitated Tsitsipas diverted his frustration into the ball and directed it into the court 1 crowd and suffered a sanction of AU$14,600.
