Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios is having one of the best seasons of his career. Earlier, he reached his first Grand Slam final at the Wimbledon Championships, where he lost to Novak Djokovic. Notably, he and Djokovic bonded really well as the former showed massive support for the Serb during his Australian Open Saga.

Now, it seems like the Aussie is showing the same support for his fellow tennis player, and the current world no.1, Daniil Medvedev.

Meanwhile, Nick Kyrgios retweeted this video and wrote, Disgusting behaviour… This is the best we have in the sport, fans need to show some respect.

Notably, Medvedev lost to Kyrgios in the round of 32 at the Canadian Open in three sets. Previously, Kyrgios lost to the Russian at the Australian Open and called him the best player at that time.

After Kyrgios publicly supported Djokovic during his vaccination status fiasco in Australia, at Wimbledon this year, they officially announced the ‘bromance’ between them on social media.

Kyrgios’ amazing season in 2022

While Djokovic is barred from traveling to the United States, Kyrgios is thriving in the US Open swing. After Wimbledon, Kyrgios traveled to Atlanta to play both the doubles and singles. Unfortunately, he had to withdraw from the singles competition, but played the doubles and won it too with his fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Notably, Kokkinakis and Kyrgios won the Australian Open doubles title earlier this year as well. After the Atlanta Open, Kyrgios took part in the Citi Open in Washington. Incredibly, he won both the singles and doubles titles. However, this time, he won the doubles with the American player Jack Sock.

Recently, he played in the Canadian Open, where he reached yet another quarter-final, where he lost to Hubert Hurkacz. Now, he will play at the Cincinnati Masters, where he will face the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the round of 64. Safe to say, Kyrgios will be a force to be reckoned with at this year’s US Open after his recent performances.
