Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis player, recently shared his excitement about the upcoming major tournaments. He wrote a cheeky statement on Instagram that proves he is ready to swim in prize money. Kyrgios is a controversial player whose matches have included epic displays of ranting, racquet-wrecking, and trash-talking, despite garnering praise for his entertaining style of play.


Kyrgios’ temperamental on-court behavior has resulted in more fines than any other player currently on the Tour. However, he always has his fans entertained, both via his performances and controversial on-court behavior.

In his Instagram story, he shared, ” Saudi Arabia and Dubai that’s all is left😪🥶,..” He further added to his Insta story, ” ..you know I gotta get the bag💰”.

Kyrgios became Australia’s top-ranked player at the end of 2022. He also finishes the year as Australia’s top-ranked doubles player, at position No. 13. At the beginning of his season, Kyrgios experienced a significant setback when his asthma forced him to withdraw from several tournaments. By mid-January, his ATP ranking had fallen to 114. As he advanced to the semifinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Houston in April, the 27-year-old began to win matches consistently. He capitalized on his momentum to make consecutive semifinal appearances in Halle and Stuttgart.

The most impressive performance of the Aussie came at Wimbledon. Kyrgios competed in his first Major final and fell to Novak Djokovic in four sets. He won his lone singles championship in 2022 at the Citi Open in Washington. He defeated Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan in the final in straight sets.

Kyrgios smashed his rackets during his post-match tantrum

Kyrgios had received a $7,500 fine for his outburst. A video showed the controversial Australian tennis player destroying two tennis racquets after he lost his match against Karen Khachanov of Russia in the US Open.
