Andrey Rublev has continued his streak by winning his 13th match consecutively. He defeated Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals of the Indian Wells Masters. Rafael Nadal, who has also kept his 19th straight winning streak alive, has also kept Rublev in awe of the player. World no. 4 has become the first man to have 21 grand slam titles.

During the press conference after the match, one reporter asked him about Nadal’s performance this season. In response, he said, “I don’t know. Rafa is the best in history player. He can do anything. Sometimes is better just to sit down, to watch and enjoy (smiling)”. The Russian player made his admiration clear for Rafa’s performance and his results. Rafael Nadal has kept his 19-match win streak alive, making his performance extra-ordinary this season.

World no. 7 talked about Nadal’s spontaneity and how he brings out significant results and performances. He talked about how it was predicted that Rafa will play the US Open, out of which he eventually pulled out. However, he came back to win the Australian Open. He said, “We’ll see.
