In the initial rounds of the Paris Masters, the Bulgarian tennis star swept aside the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Bublik. Later, in the quarterfinals, the 32-year-old was up against the 11th seed, Hubert Hurkacz, whom he outclassed in a three-set match. Even the 7th seed Greek, Stefanos Tsitsipas, had to taste a defeat at the hands of Dimitrov, who prevailed in their nail-biting semifinal meeting in Paris. Now, the former world No. 3 is one match victory away from glory as he will be up against the Serbian tennis great, Novak Djokovic, in a blockbuster showdown.

If he manages to come out on top in the challenging matchup, the Bulgarian can take home the singles title as well as a whopping prize purse at the last ATP Tour Masters 1000 event of the season.

How much is the prize money for the 2023 Paris Masters?

The indoor hardcourt event at the AccorHotels Arena has always managed to pique the excitement of fans with some highly competitive matches. Aside from the chance to lift the last ATP 1000 title of the season, the Paris Masters offers competitors one golden chance to secure a spot in the season-ending championships in Turin, Italy.

On top of this, the competitors also get the opportunity to get their hands on a lucrative prize pool, which has seen an increase as compared to the previous editions. With a total prize purse of $6,124,361, the current tournament offers a 6.72% higher total than the $5,738,709 prize pool from the previous edition. The winners in the singles and doubles categories at the 2023 Paris Masters will get a portion of the total prize money.

What is the winner’s cut at the Paris Masters 2023?

The winner of the ATP Tour Masters 1000 event in Paris will take home a whopping $945,877 this season. It is 6.72% more than the previous edition, in which the reigning champion, Holger Rune, bagged a prize of $886,285 following his thrilling victory against the Serb, Novak Djokovic. This time around, it is Grigor Dimitrov, who will be vying for a triumphant campaign after some stellar performances in Paris.

While the winner of the championship match will take home $945,877, the runner-up will also get a lucrative amount of $516,519. Once again, it is an increase of 6.72% from what the 24-time singles Grand Slam champion got in 2022. The prize money in the doubles events, on the other hand, has seen a decrease of 3.2% as compared to the previous season.

At the 2022 Paris Masters, the defending champions, Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski added $299,852 to their bank accounts after clinching the doubles title. However, this season’s edition will offer $290,198 to the winning doubles team at the AccorHotels Arena. Total prize money of $156,666 will be split between the runners-up pair, while $82,804 will be given to the second runner-up doubles duo in the hard-court tournament.
