Daniil Medvedev recently won his first title of the 2021 season at the Open 13 2021. The Russian player defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the finals of the tournament to clinch the title. The final scoreline of the match was 6-4, 6-7, 6-4.

“I’m always remembering the US Open swing, 2019, my biggest result so far. My first big result in a Grand Slam. With a, for sure, amazing story with the crowd which ended really well, I think,” added the Australian Open 2021 runner-up.
“Looking forward to coming back to the US Open”- Daniil Medvedev
The Russian player also expressed his desire to return to the US Open 2021 soon. He also hopes that fans will be present in stadiums by that time.
