Carlos Alcaraz has had a memorable time on the tennis court this season. Now, he has received the backing of Nick Kyrgios to come out on top in New York. At just 19, the Spanish sensation announced his name amongst the elite group of tennis stars. In the most remarkable season of his tennis career, Alcaraz has already won four titles, including a couple of ATP Masters 1000 titles. Owing to his consistent run across the tournaments this year, the Spaniard has climbed to the fourth spot on the ATP rankings charts.

Further, in his maiden appearance at the US Open last season, Alcaraz reached the quarterfinals before retiring midway during his last-eight match against Felix Auger-Aliassime. However, he will be looking to better last season’s result as he steps onto the courts in Flushing Meadows this year.
